So to get started here are my top tips to plan your wedding make up...

The Wedding Trial This should take place at least 6 weeks before you wedding date and ideally be in the day light hours. I find it’s a great way to get to know my Brides their bridesmaids’ and other guests who are thinking of having their make-up done.

During the trial I will look at what you currently use and create a look to ensure you look great on the camera but not change you so you look too made up! All bridesmaids and guests will be made up too. For clients who do want a completely different look I will consult over photos and then create the look chosen by the client. The end result is everyone is happy with their look and I have detailed notes and photos to create the look on the day. Getting a clear completion!!

It’s very common for a Bride to get changes in their skin... This is caused by stress and normally too little sleep! Using my 25 years of knowledge I will advise you on the correct skincare to use and how to use the products you already have... It may be a case of less is more so don’t go buying a load before you see me... this change to your routine could in its self create more problems!!

The wedding Day I will arrive at the time we discussed... normally the same time as the hairdresser as we will work alongside each other... It’s important that your make-up is done in natural day light so leave an area free in the room by the window. All guests and Bridesmaids’ are the first to be done and the bride is the last....however all clients will have lipstick reapplied and checked before they leave the room.

Most of my clients like me to say during the day till the start of the evening reception... During this time any of the wedding guests can have their make-up refreshed. The Bride can have a refreshing facial and her Make-Up completely re applied for her evening look.

So what if you are .......Getting married abroad or wish to do your Make-Up yourself? That’s easy... as I run Make-up workshops... you can book a group lesson for you and your bridesmaids/guests and I will train you all how to apply your own make-up. Or you can attend one of the workshops that I run each month... that way you will be set up and ready for your wedding day... and you will have learnt make-up skills to last you a life time!

Anti-Wrinkle Injectable Therapy

The aim of Anti-Wrinkle Injectable Therapy is to eliminate wrinkle lines by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles.

BOTOX® / Vistabel® is commonly used for easing over-active muscle movement that can cause deep frown lines and crow's feet. This product is administered with minimal discomfort to the patient. The treatment is non-invasive and you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.

Small doses of this material are injected into a muscle so as to temporarily relax it, making folds and wrinkles become much less noticeable.
