Here at unique slumber parties we want your mini guests to enjoy your wedding so that their parents can relax and enjoy it too. With a children's corner that comprises of up to 6 slumber party bed set ups and a child's size table and benches, they will have a space that is all theirs. They can play in during the day and rest in at night, meaning mum and dad can enjoy the evening with their little ones in sight.

But what about the children ? sometimes after the initial excitement of the day they may need looking after or entertained, either at the start of the day or maybe into the night.

Wedding Creche

 

We can cater for up to 30 children aged 0-9, any older children tend to want to join in the main event but are welcome to dip in and out of “the playing” as they wish.  

Your nannies will supply age appropriate toys, games and equipment to keep the children occupied throughout the day/night and will set up all their toys using whatever space is available, be it outdoors, a side room or even a separate building. 

 

Time is no issue, bookings vary from 2 hours to 19 so please don’t be afraid to ask, overnight stay is also an option. 

 

Key times where you may find us most beneficial may be during the ceremony, speeches, meal time, and bed time.

 

Wedding 1 on 1

 

This service is aimed at brides or bridesmaids with younger children. A dedicated nanny can provide childcare with activities for an individual family or small group of children.  It can be hard to keep an eye on small flower girls or pageboys while the bride is getting ready, so we can be on hand to get them dressed and keep the clean until the big moment!  

 

Your nanny can be by their side in the ceremony and make sure they aren’t getting into mischief and follow this care through the day and on into the evening.  

Once again, time is no issue and bookings can be anything from 2 hours to 19 – overnight care available. 

 

If booking a 1-on-1 service, you may want to consider our “getting to know you” package in the lead up to the event.  

 

This can consist of any number of sessions where your children can meet the nanny responsible for them. The meetings can be in form of a play date in the day or babysitting in the evening.  Parents are welcome to be present for the entire session or only part of it, and as your confidence grows in your nanny you may then feel you want to leave for the whole time.  

 

The "getting to know you" package is offered at a discounted rate and is really beneficial if you have children with additional needs or a child who has not been left before.

I am Sue Aidley and I recently started Sue’s Childcare after a friend asked me to care for the children at their wedding.  I felt that this was something not well catered for in this area.

I am fully qualified and CRB cleared.  I am also Ofsted registered a a home child carer.  The varied locations mean that the settings are not registered with Ofsted but I have insurance covering our liabilities.  My experience ranges from Nursery Nurse and Room Leader to Nursery Manager.

Mavis Sproat, who works with me is a registered Child minder and a qualified Early Years Teacher with over 40 years experience.

All other staff that we employ are qualified, CRB cleared and suitable for the position.  All are up to date with first aid training.
