Our elegantly converted barn and gardens are set in a tranquil location in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ensuring those picture-perfect backdrops. We are situated only four miles from Shrewsbury town centre; a charming county town renowned for its historical architecture and warm hospitality.
The award-winning venue will be exclusively yours to create a truly unique wedding experience. We want you to have the freedom and flexibility to choose everything from your own decor, caterers and even the kind of furniture you have! We have an alcohol licence, which means you are welcome to hire your own bar company, or, bring your own alcohol with no corkage fees. The reception area is equipped with a stage with full functionality for amplified music through our state-of-the-art Bluetooth PA sound system. The integrated heating and air conditioning system makes this the perfect all-year round venue.
We also have the perfect outdoor setting for the exchanging of vows. The big day has arrived… and the weather is beautiful! Why not make it even more special and tie the knot outside in our bespoke wooden gazebo. Set within our beautiful landscaped gardens, the spacious gazebo has ample space to accommodate the bride and groom, the wedding registrar, and witnesses.
What’s more, we are excited to introduce the brand new garden room, which offers a beautiful new space with panoramic garden views. Set aside from the main wedding barn, the garden room is our third fully licensed area to hold a ceremony, offering the flexibility to plan your day exactly how you want it. The light and spacious garden room can be used for multiple functions, including a drinks reception room, evening food, or as a separate indoor seating space, to name a few.
At Malt House Barn we have a spacious and modern wedding suite on site, along with two further king-size bedrooms. The use of the wedding suite is included in the wedding package, and is exclusively yours for the weekend.
A standard booking is from 9am Friday until 11am Sunday, so you can relax and take your time to set up and fully enjoy your wedding day. We all know how fast the wedding day goes by… so here at Malt House Barn, we offer a unique opportunity to extend your celebrations by having a “day after party”. This means you will be able to use the venue until 6pm on the Sunday, providing an option for a casual lunch or garden party to catch up with all your guests. Weddings
Bromwich Park Farm is a unique, rustic space for your individual wedding celebration or special event and can be as formal or informal as you like. The place will be yours to create your perfect party – decorate it in your style, choose your own catering and play your own music.
We run a very reasonably priced bar throughout the event but we also allow you to supply a limited amount of wine and fizz for the meal and toasts for a small corkage fee.
The Cow Barn is a large open space, a blank canvas which can be decorated however you like, much like a marquee. Perfect for a reception with live bands and dancing . It is a good size for 50 – 250 guests .
The Milking Parlour is a cosy, bohemian party room, lounge and bar retaining original milking features where you can dance into the night, up until 3am if you wish !
Between The Cow Barn and The Milking Parlour is the paved Courtyard Garden, with climbing ivy and vines and raised beds created from recycled railway sleepers. It features two pergolas and lots of outdoor furniture. This space is perfect for champagne receptions, ceremonies or performances.
The Granary Cottage at the heart of the farm makes the ideal luxurious nest for the happy couple to escape to throughout the celebrations.
We now have a full wedding license so you can have your official marriage ceremony here on the farm with a local Registrar in our new Stable Ceremony Room or The Cow Barn and also in the open air [weather permitting] on Promise Knoll, a moated ancient scheduled monument in front of the farm, or under the Pergola in the Courtyard.
You can also create your own wedding ceremony and we have a list of local Celebrants who can help you with this.
Alternatively there are registry offices in nearby Oswestry and Shrewsbury and a beautiful small church in Maesbury where you can have your legal ceremony and you can then come to celebrate with us on the farm.
We have a Camping Field in front of the house for guests who like to sleep under canvas or in camper vans, with a campfire and barbecue area. Camping guests can also make use of a camping kitchen and shower in an old stable block. If glamping is more your style, we also have 3 simple caravans in our Orchard and you can also arrange for fully furnished bell tents to be set up ready for you.
There are also plenty of hotels and B&B’s for guests in the surrounding area.
We only host a dozen wedding parties each year at Bromwich Park, between late May and Late September.
The venue will be yours for the whole weekend . You have all day Friday to set up and all day Sunday to clear up, so you can enjoy the whole process with family and friends and you won’t feel rushed. You can even add extra days if you don’t want the celebrations to end !

WEDDINGS AT HENLEY HALL
Henley Hall is a beautiful venue set in a magical location. From your arrival through the wrought iron gates and down the tree lined avenue, Henley Hall offers picturesque grandeur to impress your guests. The Hall is surrounded by elegant formal gardens and spectacular estate land.
The ‘theatrical’ garden is on two levels connected by wonderfully grand stone steps with carved stone balustrades. Coupled with the very fine double arched stone bridge over the River Ledwyche, Henley Hall offers the perfect backdrop to enhance the photographs of your wedding day.
We can cater for all of your Wedding day needs along with any special requests you may have, we also offer you the choice of having your own catering facilities and you can even bring along your own selection of wines for your Wedding Breakfast.
