Our Story

 

We bought our 3 acre field in August 2017 originally as a place to escape the rat race and moved into the area when we purchased and fell in love with alpacas. We kept that land until The Great Flood of October 2019 when the river flooded it got to chest height on our field. That night the farmers rescued 600 sheep and 9 alpacas! After that we sold it and moved them to Coedway near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

 

I wanted to share my beautiful animals with everyone so started the Therapeutic Alpacas side of the business in February 2019.

 

I now offer a full Alpaca wedding experience with many extras that can truly bring joy, happiness and a unique experience having these friendly and adorable animals around your guests and children. I can bring my Alpacas for your wedding to Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Telford and all the rural Counties of Shropshire and Powys.

When we select the perfect alpacas for an event we choose from the most friendly, relaxed and confident animals within our herd, this gives us a good number to pick from.  We receive a large volume of visitors to our farm each week and because of this our animals have, over time, learned to trust humans, especially when they come bearing food treats! The animals that are born and bred by us at the farm are especially inquisitive and extremely confident… they love to show off to their adoring audiences.

These enchanting animals will add that extra sparkle to your photos and their relaxed character will add an extra charm to the atmosphere of your day.

 

Our alpacas are friendly relaxed and very well behaved around people as they are handle and introduced to the public every day at the farm.

We offer a Wedding packages that we have designed to suit most wedding sizes, venues and budget. If you have any special requests we will do our very best to accommodate them so please do ask or discuss on your free visit.

 

Hours booked must be taken as a block booking and cannot be divided. 

 

Prices are based on alpacas attending one venue only. 

 

For venues positioned more than 10 miles from our farm a small travel fee of 75p per additional mile will be charged for alpaca transportation. 

 

We are fully insured and can supply liability insurance documents to your chosen venue if required. 

 

Our alpacas are always our first concern. If we feel that they are being placed in any danger or distress we will have to act accordingly.
