Hi, I’m Amanda and I run my personalised cake topper business from my home in Cheshire.

 

I have been making polymer clay handmade cake toppers for family and friends for many years and more recently items for sale at local fairs which have proved very popular.

 

I started the Topofthecake website in 2013 and it has steadily grown in popularity

In 1999, I created my own wedding cake topper and the personalized name cards, which had polymer clay characters added to reflect each guest’s hobbies and interests. It took a lot of effort being the very first wedding cake topper I’d ever made, but it was definitely worth it. Despite being made in 1999 I still have my cake topper proudly on the mantelpiece, still in one piece, as a reminder of our special day. Even one of my husband’s friends, a doctor, still keeps his name card on his desk!

 

Having made many other cake toppers for family and friends, including my daughter’s enormous Harry Potter cake topper, I thought about starting my own business and here we are today!

 

I have always taken great care in my work, paying attention to detail and ensuring that the creation is exactly what was requested.

Hi my name is Vicky for those who don't know me. I've been baking and decorating cakes now for 12 years. 

 

All my cakes are made by hand including toppers and decorations unless otherwise specified.

 

I have previously worked as a Chef working with a variety of desserts, but now specify my talents to Cakes.

 

I have a current Food Safety Certificate

 

 

I make various cakes for weddings,birthdays,christenings and celebrations.

Orders must be made 3 weeks prior to event with the exception of wedding cakes (please enquire for details).

Deposits will be required on some orders i will inform you of this at the time of enquiry along with the price.
