Emma’s Donkeys Llanidloes is a family business located in the heart of mid Wales. I am the 5th generation of my family to be involved in the welfare and care of these beautiful gentle animals. My great grandfather the late Peter Vaughan was a well known horseman who started operating donkey rides for children on Aberystwyth prom over 100 years ago & it's both a pleasure & an honour to carry on the family tradition.

Donkeys are incredibly social creatures that benefit with interaction from both other donkeys and people. As they are very therapeutic animals and help with mental well-being they are available to hire for weddings, fetes, educational visits, children's parties & much more……

 

Above all our donkeys welfare is our main priority and they are cared for at the very highest standard. All our donkeys have regular vets inspections, equine dentist checks and farrier visits.
