My name is Doreen O’Connell and welcome to Avani Hair Design. We are a friendly and welcoming salon. I have been a Senior Director Stylist and in the hairdressing profession for over 20 years.

I am diverse in Afro and European hair . I have worked in central London, Covent Garden, Mayfair, Birmingham and Germany. I am very passionate about working with and using natural products such as Naturalique eco organic certified colours, which are free from Parabens and free from ammonia, what you experience with these colours is that you still get the same vibrancy and great coverage, and the Naturalique products are much more gentler and kinder to the scalp and hair.

We are based in Albrighton High street and launched in November 2016 . I love training hair stylists and have taught many students over 20 years, whether in house or in colleges, which is so rewarding for me to give something back . Training is the foundation of Avani Hair Design, without this we cannot be true innovators of the profession of hairdressing. Avani Hair Design are also a beauty salon where there are professional and talented beauty therapists who are outstanding in their field and are masters of micro blading as well as lash extensions amongst other specialist treatments.
