WE are food professionals with over 20 years of experience in the food industry. WE have a passion for supplying great quality food. After working for other people for a long time, WE decided to start and develop our own unique event catering business.

WE specialise in catering for events, serving hot food and ice cream from our lovingly restored vintage horse boxes.

Hog Roasts

Succulent Hog and Spit Roasts slow-roasted over 8 hours and consistently marinated in a mix of apple cider and herbs. Hand-cut as you wait and served with an array of delicious sides to set off the whole experience. WE also offer alternative meats and dishes for any requirements.

Ice Cream

Betty is our 1976 vintage horse box trailer that WE have lovingly restored and transformed into a one-of-a-kind homemade ice cream trailer that will make your party and guests' experience unforgettable. WE can customise flavours, and even name them after you!

Our ice creams are served in recyclable pots with a choice of vintage style sweets, chocolate flakes and sugar syrups.

 We are a very well established family run Business with a 20 plus years experience in our field. 

 

This Business is solely a family run Business, which takes upmost pride on every task its faced with. 

 

The Director of the Company has 25 years experience within the catering industry, putting all his knowledge and effort into every signed contract.  As a 21 year old Man attending his first Glastonbury Festival, his business focus was very quickly aimed and the outdoor venue field. Having an eye for the catering cues, the cost of the food being served within large numbers, he very soon began to do his research along with his Maths and knew this would soon be his life long career.

 

The Secretary of the Company, the Directors wife, has substantial knowledge within the Human Resources field, along with gross qualifications within workplace legislation, management skills, Health & Safety, First Aid and Food Hygiene, also owning a license to sell alcohol.

 

Our main aims and objectives within our Business is to continue to grow, obtain more contracts within the outdoor events catering industry and continue to expand our catering fleet. 

 

We provide a wide range of foods on outdoor events. Our menu’s include Pizza, Tradition Gourmet Burgers, Chinese & Thai, Hog Roast, Vegetarian, Indian and All day Breakfast.  Our main contracts are Music Festivals through the summer months, but also cater on Agricultural shows, Air Shows, Steam Rallies, Concerts and Christmas Markets. 

 

We target all major music events through the summer months. Our contracts have included Glastonbury, Reading Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Boardmasters, Lytham Proms, Agricultural events, Horse trials, Steam Rallies, Christmas Markets.

 

The Event organisers which provide our contracts are in charge of our pricing range. The smaller jobs we cater on, we will closely look into other trader prices and aim to be the lowest. 

 

All other trader of the events we work on are competitors. We often have view of site plans of the events we work on beforehand, we make sure no other traders are close by selling the same product.

Roast Event has become popular with couples looking to tie the knot. Weddings are a regular feature in Silvio’s calendar and he loves making sure every detail of the catering goes to plan. From arranging consultations and providing bespoke menus, every element is taken care of.  Silvio says “It’s great to be able to help people by removing all of the stress for them. Roasts create a superb focal point and really add the wow factor.”

 

The style of roast offered is tailored to each event and can cater from 50 to 300 people. Included in the service are the professional roasting or cooking machines, a dedicated chef, homemade sauces, stuffing's and a range of authentic breads.  Roast Event also specialises in providing vegetarian dishes and home made desserts.

 

Not only can we do a Hog Roast, Lamb Roast or Barbeque for your wedding; we can also plan the entire evening's culinary requirements with you.  With quality, excellent customer service,  professionalism and versatility our Hog Roast is considered by many of our customers the best they have ever tasted.
