We bought our 3 acre field in August 2017 originally as a place to escape the rat race and moved into the area when we purchased and fell in love with alpacas. We kept that land until The Great Flood of October 2019 when the river flooded it got to chest height on our field. That night the farmers rescued 600 sheep and 9 alpacas! After that we sold it and moved them to Coedway near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

 

I wanted to share my beautiful animals with everyone so started the Therapeutic Alpacas side of the business in February 2019.

 

I now offer a full Alpaca wedding experience with many extras that can truly bring joy, happiness and a unique experience having these friendly and adorable animals around your guests and children. We are a family run business located in North Shropshire. We create and hire bespoke illuminated white wooden letters, numbers and symbols for hire. They are handmade by us and finished to an excellent standard.

Products

Our letters and numbers are 4ft in height and approximately 2ft wide. The symbols we provide are slightly smaller approximately 3.5ft. They are designed for indoor/undercover use only.

 

We use 12v LED strip lights supplied with a mains adaptor. They can be set to a choice of 20 different colours and can be dimmable, flashing, block colour or different colours for each letter/number.

 

We can provide any combination of letters and numbers so if you have any specific ideas in mind, get in touch and given enough time we hope to provide exactly what you need to light up your special occasion.

'Jacob Gourley is a representational oil painter whose appreciation of traditional art has been the driving force in shaping his artistic career and honing his craft. In 2017 he graduated with a 1st class Ba hons in fine art from the University of Gloucestershire, during which he was awarded a scholarship to study for a month in Rome. 

Since graduating, Jacob has continued a studio based practice, exploring various themes in his work, carrying out numerous commissions and delivering workshops.'...

At the heart of Jacob’s practice is keen attention to the artwork’s formal qualities, such as shape, tone, edges, colour, and composition. To date, Gourley has exhibited in a number of group and solo shows  and was awarded 1st Prize in the Wirral Society of Arts Open exhibition in 2019 for his painting ‘82 - St John’s to Toxteth’. Fran is a Shropshire born artist in her early thirties (I know, yes, she does look younger). She has spent the last decade of her life refining her artistic skills, painting and drawing portraits. Her work has been featured in galleries and has been sold in auctions to aid charities. One of her favorite paintings (Bruce) is owned by Alan Oliver, who designs tattoos for Tattoo Idea Magazine.The painting of Kurt Cobain which hangs by the shop window has received comments and likes via Facebook and Instagram by influential artists including Paul Oz and Jeremy Worst.

Fran learnt to tattoo in 2010. She is now working towards getting to convention standard. Her hope is to work at Tattoo Freeze 2015 and pick up an award for her portrait tattoos.

And what a great idea to have a personal Tattoo of your loved on your body or maybe a tattooed ring on each finger as a permanent reminder of your love for each other.

My name is Toria and Toria's Trinkets was born as a result of me getting meningitis back in July 2014.  Prior to me falling ill I was a busy working woman who rushed from one thing to another, be it work or play.  Since the meningitis I have had a huge change to my life and have found it difficult to 'do nothing' and recuperate.  Even in hospital I would be busy stitching either my tapestry or designing and stitching cross stitch pieces.  As a result of being mainly housebound I have been perusing the multitude of television channels that we have on offer and happened upon the Jewellery Maker channel and one of their Designer Inspiration shows, well it is safe to say i was hooked in seconds.  I ordered my first kit and it has grown from there.

Hello. Welcome to my site. I’m Nick Labrum, a documentary wedding photographer living between Lichfield in Staffordshire and Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Chairs & Tables

 

We offer a range of chairs from simple but comfortable stacking chairs, to gilt steel framed banqueting chairs with velvet style fixed covers in blue or red finish.

We also stock a range of wooden chairs that are either gilt finished or finished in a lime wash style. These have base cushions that can be interchanged to offer a wide range of colours including red, blue, green and gold.

New this season, we are now also offering high poseur chairs to complement our poseur tables – idea for bar areas or outside on the patio.

 

Linen

 

Beautifully presented table linen makes all the difference and we believe it really adds the finishing touch. We pride ourselves that we have always supplied the highest standard of linen, including tables cloths, table slips and napkins, as well as a top class, personal service.Our table linen is available in a wide range of colours to fit tables of all shapes and sizes. We can also provide white or ivory circular cloths to fit round tables from 3ft to 6ft in diameter.

We work closely with our clients (caterers, corporate entertainers, marquee suppliers and often brides and even grooms!) offering advice to ensure that they achieve the look they wanted to create. We can arrange delivery of our table linen anywhere in the country.

After receiving increasing demand for our wedding services annually, the team at Hawkeye Falconry UK, decided to venture further and set up this website in 2017, to allow for more detail to be shared about our services for weddings.

Wedding Creche

 

We can cater for up to 30 children aged 0-9, any older children tend to want to join in the main event but are welcome to dip in and out of “the playing” as they wish.  

Your nannies will supply age appropriate toys, games and equipment to keep the children occupied throughout the day/night and will set up all their toys using whatever space is available, be it outdoors, a side room or even a separate building. 

 

Time is no issue, bookings vary from 2 hours to 19 so please don’t be afraid to ask, overnight stay is also an option. 

 

Key times where you may find us most beneficial may be during the ceremony, speeches, meal time, and bed time.

 

Wedding 1 on 1

 

This service is aimed at brides or bridesmaids with younger children. A dedicated nanny can provide childcare with activities for an individual family or small group of children.  It can be hard to keep an eye on small flower girls or pageboys while the bride is getting ready, so we can be on hand to get them dressed and keep the clean until the big moment!  

 

Your nanny can be by their side in the ceremony and make sure they aren’t getting into mischief and follow this care through the day and on into the evening.  

Once again, time is no issue and bookings can be anything from 2 hours to 19 – overnight care available. 

 

If booking a 1-on-1 service, you may want to consider our “getting to know you” package in the lead up to the event.  

 

This can consist of any number of sessions where your children can meet the nanny responsible for them. The meetings can be in form of a play date in the day or babysitting in the evening.  Parents are welcome to be present for the entire session or only part of it, and as your confidence grows in your nanny you may then feel you want to leave for the whole time.  

 

The "getting to know you" package is offered at a discounted rate and is really beneficial if you have children with additional needs or a child who has not been left before.

When your Wedding dress has been bought and you cannot wait to try it on, how disappointing it is to find it does not fit exactly how you want it to. Maybe you have put on a bit of weight or lost some, or maybe it has been purchased on line, whatever the reason you need it altering immediately.

 

Photo Booths are the fun way to enjoy your wedding day, Party, anniversary, Prom or any other day that maybe special to you and you want to make it a day to remember. We are so excited to share with you, the purchase of our new lavish limousine!

 

You may be surprised to learn that this limousine once started out as an American Ford Excursion, basically a 4x4. It was then cut in half, stretched by 140 inches and shipped over to the UK – just like that! Once it reached the UK, by law, it could be used to carry up to eight passengers although there was space for 16. So, the limousine went back into the garage to be worked on so that it’s build was in-line with EU regulation rather than American legislation.

 

Once the seat belts were fitted, emissions were checked, the dimensions and support inspected there was only another 48 points to get right and tick off the list. Not so easy eh? They did it though, the limo was awarded its COIF (Certificate of Initial Fitness).

 

The lavish limousine was fully refurbished last year; new plush black carpets to accentuate the colour changing dance floor, grey quilted seating outlined in black and refitted LED lite bars holding our lavish Champagne flutes. The icing on our cake is the state-of-the-art Bluetooth system allowing you to connect your phone.

 

Since it’s been in our hands we’ve had it inspected mechanically (simply routine, and the law), it’s been lovingly washed, waxed and polished ready to share with those who like to party in a different kind of way! We love our lavish limo and look forward to sharing our pride and joy with you and your guests.

Weddings

Bromwich Park Farm is a unique, rustic space for your individual wedding celebration or special event and can be as formal or informal as you like.  The place will be yours to create your perfect party – decorate it in your style, choose your own catering and play your own music.

We run a very reasonably priced bar throughout the event but we also allow you to supply a limited amount of wine and fizz for the meal and toasts for a small corkage fee.

The Cow Barn is a large open space, a blank canvas which can be decorated however you like, much like a marquee.  Perfect for a reception with live bands and dancing . It is a good size for 50 – 250 guests .

The Milking Parlour is a cosy, bohemian party room, lounge and bar retaining original milking features where you can dance into the night, up until 3am if you wish !

Between The Cow Barn and The Milking Parlour is the paved Courtyard Garden, with climbing ivy and vines and raised beds created from recycled railway sleepers. It features two pergolas and lots of outdoor furniture.  This space is perfect for champagne receptions, ceremonies or performances.

The Granary Cottage at the heart of the farm makes the ideal luxurious nest for the happy couple to escape to throughout the celebrations.

We now have a full wedding license so you can have your official marriage ceremony here on the farm with a local Registrar in our new Stable Ceremony Room or The Cow Barn and also in the open air [weather permitting] on Promise Knoll, a moated ancient scheduled monument in front of the farm, or under the Pergola in the Courtyard.

You can also create your own wedding ceremony and we have a list of local Celebrants who can help you with this.

Alternatively there are registry offices in nearby Oswestry and Shrewsbury and a beautiful small church in Maesbury where you can have your legal ceremony and you can then come to celebrate with us on the farm.

We have a Camping Field in front of the house for guests who like to sleep under canvas or in camper vans, with a campfire and barbecue area. Camping guests can also make use of a camping kitchen and shower in an old stable block. If glamping is more your style, we also have 3 simple caravans in our Orchard and you can also arrange for fully furnished bell tents to be set up ready for you.

There are also plenty of hotels and B&B’s for guests in the surrounding area.

We only host a dozen wedding parties each year at Bromwich Park, between late May and Late September.

The venue will be yours for the whole weekend . You have all day Friday to set up and all day Sunday to clear up, so you can enjoy the whole process with family and friends and you won’t feel rushed. You can even add extra days if you don’t want the celebrations to end !

If you’re looking to organise a truly unique and memorable Bridal Shower, then our fabulously fun
baking/cooking and dining experiences are the perfect way to celebrate.

The Dough House, with its chandeliers and floral roof, makes a beautiful setting for the bride and her
guests to get creative and make some delicious food while sipping fizz. The guests will then sit down
together to enjoy the sumptuous food that they’ve created and celebrate the bride’s forthcoming
wedding.

The Dough House offers a range of baking/cooking and dining experiences from a traditional afternoon tea to
ravioli making or a meze feast. Our events are available during the day or in the afternoon/ evening
and are suitable for groups of 6-24 participants.

“ I love to cook and for my hen do, my wonderful friends arranged for us to spend a morning with Fulden making ravioli. We arrived and Fulden had decorated the kitchen and dining area with lots of wonderful hen do decorations and got us all sashes and a crown for me. It was such a wonderful touch! We were all a little hungover and behaving like silly school children but Fulden took it all in her stride and laughed along with us as we made our ravioli. I haven't laughed so much in a long time! As I said, she embraced the whole silly hen do attitude and joined it seamlessly with the educational part of the morning. We made incredible pasta and although we struggled with the shapes and in the end went off-piste and made our own shapes, ended up with a phenomenal meal, which being slightly hungover was very much needed and appreciated. I don't like coconut desserts but the mousse we made with Fulden was so yummy! The meal was presented fantastically and she even got us some prosecco to celebrate! Although our favorite drink was 100% the homemade lemonade! After we left she sent us recipe cards with everything we had made and more, and even included the recipe for her lemonade! I have so far made 4 or 5 variations of the ravioli and it is a firm family favorite already! Thank you so much for an incredible day Fulden, and I will definitely be back!

Hog roasts for any occasion whether they be weddings, private parties, All types of out door and indoor occasions at competitive prices.

 

All our pigs are supplied by local Shropshire farmers, with the meat slow cooked on a locally crafted spit, and our soft white baps are freshly baked by a local bakery. Then we make the stuffing from a recipe over 100 years old with fresh ingredients and apple sauce fresh for each occasion made by ourselves.

 

We also pride ourselves on our roasts of tender beef sirloins, using the same spit-roasting method but making use of beef from locally reared cattle and wrapped in the same delicious soft white baps with a horseradish or mustard.

 

We specialise in providing hog roasts and beef roasts for a wide range of events including country fayres, weddings, corporate hospitality events, bonfire night celebrations, and other special occasions in Shropshire, Cheshire & North wales.

 

Local Shropshire pigs, slow cooked

 

We source our pigs from local Shropshire farmers and cook our hog roasts on a locally crafted spit and serve in soft white baps, freshly baked by a local bakery.
