Mich Dale started showing 25 years ago in 1990 and has a small successful kennel that has Multiple Champions Worldwide with West Highland White Terriers (WHWT, ) Kerry Blue Terriers and Scottish Terriers. She started professional grooming some 15 years ago running a successful small salon in the heart of the English countryside in Staffordshire. 

She was persuaded to compete at Premier Groom in 2008 her first ever grooming competition and went on to win BIS (Best in Show) something she repeated in 2010 in the elite class. After a few years out of competition Mich took top honours again in 2014 at the Golden Groomer Competition at Liege, Belgium en-route to Split in Croatia where she went on to win the Terrier group and other group placings with her WHWT’s.  Mich has  earned great respect from fellow groomers all over the world  for her unique grooming style and faultless presentation that she has also judged Premier Groom in 2009 and The British Dog Grooming Championships in 2014.

At the 2015 Groomania competition, held in Kortrijk XPO Belgium, This successful breeder and groomer gave a 3 hour seminar on how to groom a WHWT to breed and show standards. Giving the paying audience an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge on the very unique way Mich hand strips a WHWT.  After the seminar Mich also then ran a 3 hour workshop for one to one tuition and hands on with WHWT & Scotties. At this workshop Mich personally guided the participants with their own dogs and taught them some of her fantastic techniques and styling vision that has brought her great success all over the world, including Japan, Norway, America, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa, Hungary & Russia.

We use soy wax as a base for our products which is a sustainable resource. All products are palm oil free. All fragrance oils are chemical and cruelty free. 

We have also sourced fully recyclable packaging which contains NO plastic, so please help us in reusing or recycling your packaging after use. 

 

Weddings & Party Favours

 

We now offer bespoke candles and wax melts for wedding or party favours. The labels can be personalised and designed to suit your special day and individual requirements. We offer a range of options to suit you.

 

We work closely with our clients throughout the process of designing and creating the favours. Labels and favours can be adapted to suit any event such as baby showers, weddings, birthday or anniversary celebrations and even Christmas parties.

Once a price has been agreed, we will require a small deposit to secure your order. The rest of the payment will not be invoiced until your order has been fully completed. 

You can choose the scent from the list below, and we then work with you in designing the personalised labels. You can add names, the date of the celebration and the venue. Different styles and colours are available. Once a proof has been sent to you and it has been approved, we will lovingly create your favours. Once your order is completed and the final payments have been received, you can collect from us, or we can deliver to you for an additional cost.  

We currently have a minimum 3 week turn-around period, but if you need yours sooner please get in touch and we'll do everything we can to help.

'Jacob Gourley is a representational oil painter whose appreciation of traditional art has been the driving force in shaping his artistic career and honing his craft. In 2017 he graduated with a 1st class Ba hons in fine art from the University of Gloucestershire, during which he was awarded a scholarship to study for a month in Rome. 

Since graduating, Jacob has continued a studio based practice, exploring various themes in his work, carrying out numerous commissions and delivering workshops.'...

At the heart of Jacob’s practice is keen attention to the artwork’s formal qualities, such as shape, tone, edges, colour, and composition. To date, Gourley has exhibited in a number of group and solo shows  and was awarded 1st Prize in the Wirral Society of Arts Open exhibition in 2019 for his painting ‘82 - St John’s to Toxteth’. In 2022, he won first prize in the Belle View Arts Festival for his painting Lotus II and since has acquired gallery representation with the Soden Collection, Shrewsbury. 

 

Currently he is working from his Shropshire home studio and is taking on commissions.

Fascinators

The recent popularity of the fascinator owes much to the trend-setting British Royal Family. The Duchess of Cornwall chose a fascinator for her marriage to Prince Charles in 2005 and The Queen wore one at the wedding of her grandson, Peter Phillips and  we were delighted to design and create some fantastic creations for the Royal Wedding in 2018 – Harry and Meghan.
At formal events of all types it is no longer unusual to see fascinators taking over from the more traditional hat.
Our fascinators can be worn as headbands, combs or clips, all of which will add that special ‘finishing touch’ to any outfit.

We specialise in bespoke, hand-made fascinators, for all ages, occasions and to meet all budgets. Fascinators range from £15.99 upwards to purchase and £20.00 to £40.00 to hire.

A wedding ceremony is usually conducted after a couple legally marry. There are a number of reasons why you might choose to marry and then have a wedding ceremony, the  primary reason being that it gives you the freedom to celebrate where, when and how you wish.

As an Independent Celebrant I am able to ensure each ceremony is unique to you. A Wedding Ceremony can be held in a location of your choice, at a time to suit you and there are no limits to the number of people who can be present.

Your choice of music, poetry and readings can be woven into the ceremony.

Symbolic actions such as exchanging rings, lighting candles, a sand ceremony, releasing balloons, butterflies or doves, or creating unique items to cherish are just a few ideas that can be included.

The ceremony can also contain religious elements if you choose.

Fees

The fee for a wedding ceremony is £600.

This includes:

• An initial meeting
• A visit to the venue
• A planning meeting 
• Creating a bespoke script for the ceremony
• Conducting the ceremony
• A certificate to commemorate the event.
• Travel within a 40 mile radius*

Additional Costs

If you would like to hold a full rehearsal at your venue beforehand there is and additional charge of £120.

A deposit of £120 is required to secure your date.

The balance must be paid four weeks before the ceremony.

Emma’s Donkeys Llanidloes is a family business located in the heart of mid Wales. I am the 5th generation of my family to be involved in the welfare and care of these beautiful gentle animals. Hello. Welcome to my site. I’m Nick Labrum, a documentary wedding photographer living between Lichfield in Staffordshire and Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Glassware

 

All glassware hired from Shires Event Hire is delivered to you in pristine condition. We ensure that each item is hand polished after washing to maintain our first class standards, and to ensure that it is one less thing for you to worry about.

Both our Executive and Saxon ranges cover all your event needs from beer glasses to beautiful champagne flutes. New for this season we can now also offer a range of cocktail supplies for those special evenings.

Cutlery and Crockery

Executive quality cutlery and crockery gives that luxury finish to any table setting. Our Marquee cutlery and Executive crockery ranges offer an elegant design that provides that sophisticated feel.

Chairs & Tables

 

We offer a range of chairs from simple but comfortable stacking chairs, to gilt steel framed banqueting chairs with velvet style fixed covers in blue or red finish.

We also stock a range of wooden chairs that are either gilt finished or finished in a lime wash style. These have base cushions that can be interchanged to offer a wide range of colours including red, blue, green and gold.

New this season, we are now also offering high poseur chairs to complement our poseur tables – idea for bar areas or outside on the patio.

 

Linen

 

Beautifully presented table linen makes all the difference and we believe it really adds the finishing touch. We pride ourselves that we have always supplied the highest standard of linen, including tables cloths, table slips and napkins, as well as a top class, personal service.Our table linen is available in a wide range of colours to fit tables of all shapes and sizes. We can also provide white or ivory circular cloths to fit round tables from 3ft to 6ft in diameter.

We work closely with our clients (caterers, corporate entertainers, marquee suppliers and often brides and even grooms!) offering advice to ensure that they achieve the look they wanted to create. We can arrange delivery of our table linen anywhere in the country.

Katie Canning has trained in Musical Theatre for 6 years, starting at The Birmingham Ormiston Academy, then graduating at The Arden School of Theatre in Manchester.
