I began my career as a makeup artist over 20 years ago where I predominantly specialized in Television makeup in London. During my time in London, I spent two years as personal makeup artist to Kirsty Gallagher and 3 years at ITV’s much loved This Morning all whilst also free-lancing on many other TV programs, photo shoots and working alongside many celebrities.

After making the move back to my hometown of Shrewsbury, Shropshire I specialized more in the field of Bridal makeup and over time also began to build to my business in other areas of beauty. Now fully qualified in beauty therapy I offer a vast range of make-up, beauty & laser treatments all from my beautiful beauty room situated just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Hello everyone, I’m Jo, I just moved to Essex at the end of 2023 and work at Blue Skies Clinic in Manningtree. 

I’m a Registered Medical Practitioner specialising in Laser, IPL, Medical Aesthetics, Hair loss, Extensions and Dermatology. I’m a certified trainer in healthcare and aesthetic medicine and I thoroughly enjoy my work and helping clients achieve their goals and fall in love with themselves all over again. 

I started working in the NHS in 2007, in Radiology and advanced into various fields, including Medical Aesthetics and went into full time private practice in 2017. Private practice has taken me around the world where I perfected my skills working in Private cosmetic clinics in Spain, Brazil, Southern Africa and Argentina. I dipped out to try something new but found myself back, doing what I love.
